Security & Protection
The Smart City Model is implemented taking into consideration security and protection issues which include the following:
- Protection of data sources
- Verification of data content in data sources
- Secure transmission of information between sources and City engine
- Operational security and protection of the City engine (all issues related to software, hardware, access, etc)
- Access to and modification of City Model running on city engine by authorized city administration specialists
- Data access authorization in on-line reports
- Data transmission security and protection in communications between city server and citizens
- Encryption of the city model backups by AES256
The measures and implementation procedures supported by the PharosN portal services, ensure effective city data protection and copyrights for its metropolitan model.
