How much time I would need to learn and make my first custom solution?
Estimated timing for learning:
~12 h - Obtaining your own engine and development platform, learning it basic administrative functions and typical model structure supported by interactive wizards and guides
~ 4 h – How to use model builder instruments (editor of objects, indicators, data elements, sensors, etc)
~ 8 h - How to link the model to optional IoT and other data sources
~ 4 h - How to plan and prepare sample model for your customer
Estimated timing for the first model development:
~12 h – Learning the first customer application environment (system structure, data sources and its access options, KPIs, requirements for monitoring, analytics, reporting, users, their roles and access rights, data security, etc)
~25 h – Planning and preparing the detailed description of the model for its implementation
~25 h – Model building with interactive instruments, its linking to data sources, testing and prototyping
~10 h – Updating and improvement of the model, dashboards and reports based on the prototyping results
~16 h – Preparing and demonstrating the application to your customer, its documenting
~4 h – Training of your customer (management, operators, employees) and application deployment at your customer premises
Total duration from the first step to first solution deployment for the customer: ~ 1 month !
NB: The duration is estimated based on actual implementation experience for the model of smart manufacturing enterprise: Total numbers of Employees=75, Smart objects (Products, customers, etc) = 30, KPIs =295; Data sources = 167.
